A focused plan for the materials involved
A thermal camera can identify temperature differences, but it does not prove that a surface is wet or see through walls. Suspected areas should be verified with the correct moisture meter and compared with unaffected materials.
- Inspect affected and adjoining areas
- Compare readings with similar dry materials
- Use thermal screening to guide meter checks
- Create a room-by-room moisture map
- Repeat measurements throughout drying
