A focused plan for the materials involved
Extraction is not the end of mitigation. Materials that look dry on the surface may still contain elevated moisture. After bulk water removal, the drying system must be sized, monitored and adjusted using actual readings rather than an arbitrary number of days.
- Confirm immediate electrical and structural hazards
- Document the source and pre-existing conditions
- Extract accessible water
- Map visible and concealed moisture
